Rare Earths
Noble Gases
is our sixth tape (from MafarKa Box),
and is our contribution to the second of the five split
series, 5 Pezzi Facili, edited by Under My Bed Recordings.
The 5 songs by the Frozen Fracture included in this EP collect
different episodes during the band's troubled exhistenc.
Wobbling and Vials were recorded for a demo, and a compilation respectively.

|
The demo was not completed and the we were erased from the compiltaion.
The farmer and Noble Gases are recorded at reharsals with a mono-tape recorded,
so is Spin Up-Spin-Down, which was however taped at a very rare gig.
Compliments for having reached the Frozen Fracture website, hope you enjoy the tape.
Feedback is always appreciated.

Noble Gases: The noble gases, also known as the inert gases,
are located in Group VIII of the periodic table. Group VIII is sometimes called Group O.The noble gases are
relatively nonreactive. This is because they have a complete valence shell. They have little tendency to gain
or lose electrons. The noble gases have high ionization energies and negligible electronegativities. The noble gases
have low boiling points and are all gases at room temperature. comprise six members
of Group O of the Periodic Table, helim (He, 2), neon (Ne, 10), argon (Ar, 18), krypton (Kr, 36), xenon (Xe, 54), and
radon (Rn, 86).

Rare Earths: The metals known as the "rare earths" comprise three members
of Group IIIB of the Periodic Table, scandium (Sc, 21), yttrium (Y, 39), and lanthanum (La, 57), and the 14 lanthanides
that are filling the 4f electron shell: cerium (Ce, 58), praseodymium (Pr, 59), neodymium (Nd, 60), promethium (Pm, 61),
samarium (Sm, 62), europium (Eu, 63), gadolinium (Gd, 64), terbium (Tb, 65), dysprosium (Dy, 66), homium (Ho, 67), erbium
(Er, 68), thulium (Tm, 69), ytterbium (Yb, 70) and lutetium (Lu, 71).
