Under My Bed: My Shell

My Shell is the solo acoustic project of Matteo, previously also in Nasten'ka and BuioOmega, amongst the others. My Shell composes melancholic, slow, reflective ballads, in which acoustic guitar, grandpiano and a feeble dash of the voice are melt together in a subtle harmonic blend. Following a string of contributions to our compilation collection, we have recovered take from a demo tape and which is entitled "The Baikal EP". The record is somewhat literally no-fi, as the audio quality is dreadful, despite careful mastering by MdK. Nevertheless, it is a brilliant piece of intimistic song-writing, that makes of My Shell probably the most secretive and undisclosed pearl amongst Italian singer-songwriter.
